Green Springs County Park
As a mother of three little girls, when I saw the chance to explore Green Springs Park, we were ready and willing for an adventure. With a beautiful drive through the town of Enterprise, this park seems to be a hidden treasure off the beaten path. more... Once we entered the park, which was free, I noticed there were about 28 parking spaces. That means you're not going to get inundated with crowds. With amenities such as picnic tables and grills, it's a great place for a kid's party or family gatherings. Of course my four and six year old girls, bolted to the playground which is big, clean and sturdy. There's a paved path around the playground and picnic tables so I could sit with my five-week-old and still keep an eye on the other girls while they were climbing the rock wall. The trees are absolutely beautiful; huge canopies stretched over the paved paths, and I love the moss that hangs down and flows with the breeze. We weren't the only visitors in the park, the girls and I noticed cardinals, woodpeckers, squirrels and more. There is so much to love about this park, but the clincher for me, as a mother of three was the safe, clean, family-friendly facilities. ![]() Daniella Koontz DeLand, FL ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
