There are numerous ways you can get out on the river. Much of the river and shoreline looks like it did a hundred years ago, unspoiled and teaming with wildlife. Kayaks, canoes, fishing boats, houseboats and pontoon boats dot the river all year round. Bring your own or rent one at the many convenient marinas.
