The Stetson Mansion is a historic and privately owned residence, preserving 95% of its original structure. It is not a museum but rather a fully restored and updated home that offers an immersive experience where nothing is marked as "private."
Visitors are guided through the first and second floors, the Zen guest cottage (formerly a schoolhouse), and the owners' private quarters, including their bedroom, bathroom, and secret closet. The Grand Tour extends to the third floor, showcasing three designer-decorated bedrooms, four bathrooms, a boardroom, and the Stetson Memories Room, which delves into the history of the Stetson Hat.
The mansion boasts intricate inlaid parquet floors with 16 different patterns and antique windows with over 10,000 panes of glass. The Zen guest house retains its original Polynesian ceiling.
Guides share historical insights about John B. Stetson, his famous guests, and the mansion’s evolution, making this an unforgettable journey through time, craftsmanship, and innovation.
