March of Museums celebrates the variety and versatility of museums in our communities. The Department of State is partnering with museums in Florida to share the many unique opportunities in which visitors can experience museums. Check out this list of museums throughout Central Florida who are participating including several in West Volusia.
The Enterprise Museum is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Enterprise, Florida. Founded in 1841, Enterprise has been the seat of Mosquito, Orange and Volusia Counties. The museum, a 1936 schoolhouse slated for demolition in 2003, was rescued and moved by Enterprise Preservation Society in 2007, renovated, and opened as The Enterprise Museum in October, 2014.

Museum of Art – DeLand
The Museum of Art – DeLand promotes, fosters and encourages the creation, understanding, enjoyment and appreciation of the visual arts by exhibiting selected works of national and international significance, supplemented by interpretive educational programming.
Presently the Museum changes exhibitions, which feature two- and three-dimensional works of artistic significance, quarterly in both gallery locations at 100 and 600 N Woodland Blvd in DeLand. See the website for information on tours, lectures, workshops, and exhibition schedules.

West Volusia Historical Society
The West Volusia Historical Society operates the Henry A. DeLand House Museum. The Conrad Research Center and several medical rooms in the DeLand Memorial Hospital and Veterans Museum. The DeLand House Museum and the is open five days a week for docent led tours as is the DeLand Memorial Hospital and Veterans Museum. The public is invited to monthly speaking programs and events are scheduled throughout the year.
